Our Story
Safe Textil was founded in 2018 as a result of professional experience within the agrochemical industry. Through our work with agrochemical importers, we gained firsthand insight into the impact these products have not only on the environment and agricultural soils, but also on the most important stakeholder in the production chain: the farmer.It was during this time that we identified a concerning reality: thousands of agricultural workers were handling and spraying agrochemicals with minimal protection, exposing their health to unnecessary risks on a daily basis.Driven by the desire to provide a practical and effective solution, we began an extensive research and development process focused on three fundamental principles:1. Providing effective protection for the person wearing the equipment.
2. Reducing environmental impact through reusable protective clothing, minimizing waste generated by disposable alternatives.
3. Ensuring comfort and breathability to withstand high temperatures during long hours of manual spraying and field work.After evaluating various alternatives, we found the answer in smart fabrics enhanced with nanotechnology, capable of delivering advanced protection while maintaining comfort and ease of use.As a result, we developed a personal protective equipment (PPE) solution consisting of three essential pieces: a hood, shirt, and pants, designed to be lightweight, easy to wear, and suitable for the demanding conditions of agricultural work.Among the leading organizations that have trusted our products are Syngenta, UPL, Totai Citrus (a lemon-exporting company), the Ministry of Rural Development and Lands of Bolivia, projects funded by the World Bank, Tecnomyl, and more than 200 independent farmers who have chosen Safe Textil as a safe, comfortable, and environmentally responsible solution for their daily operations.Today, Safe Textil remains committed to its mission of protecting the people who produce our food while promoting safer and more sustainable agricultural practices.
